Job Title - High-Volume Thrift Store Retail Pricing Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a High-Volume Production Associate to join our processing team. Unlike a traditional boutique role, this position is built for speed. You will receive pre-sorted bins of donated items and your goal is to get them priced, tagged and ready for the floor as quickly as possible using roughly standardized pricing points.

The Workflow (Assembly Line Model)

Receive: A pre-sorted bin of a single category (e.g., 50 pairs of jeans).
Review: Quick 3-second check for overlooked stains/tears.
Price & Tag: Batch hang clothing, decide on price points and tag.
Rack: Complete racks/bins and move to the sales floor..

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

This is a production-driven role. Success is measured by "Items Per Hour" (IPH).

Target: Once ramped up, you will be expected to process [e.g., 75–100] items per hour.
Consistency: Maintaining a steady pace throughout the shift while keeping an eye on your productivity..
Organization: Keeping your workstation clear and bins moving through the queue efficiently.

Work Environment

Focused: You will be working at a dedicated pricing station, many times with another pricer at another station. Bins will be loaded and ready at the beginning of your shift and you will work through them steadily and cleanly.
Physical: You will be standing, reaching, lifting (20-40#), and moving hangers/garments constantly. It is an active work environment.
Non-Customer Facing: This role is based entirely in our production area, allowing you to focus 100% on your output.
You are responsible for keeping your workstation clean and organized. Each day you will be responsible for your trashes, rejected items and clearing your station completely.

Qualifications

Will train but must have some retail background, register/POS experience.
2+ years of customer service experience.
Must enjoy customer service and the environment of a thrift store.
Attentiveness and ability to assess customer's needs.
A great candidate would love the concept of thrift stores, enjoy spending time with customers and enjoy cleaning and setting up store displays.
Capable of opening and closing the store alone and occasionally with assistance.
Comfortable lifting and carrying at least 30lbs.
Must be a "people person" and enjoying helping customers.
Sufficient skills in prioritizing daily task requirements.
Being fluent in Spanish and English is not required but would be a bonus!
